My Story

With over 22 years of dedicated service as an LVN, my journey in healthcare has been characterized by a commitment to safe and effective patient care. Throughout my extensive career, I have honed my expertise in various healthcare settings, with a particular focus on skilled nursing facilities. This diverse experience has equipped me with the skills to consistently deliver exceptional care to the patients I serve.

In addition to my direct patient care experience, I bring 13 years of experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), where I have worked closely with skilled nursing facilities to maintain compliance and ensure quality assurance.

A significant aspect of my skill set lies in case management, where I am dedicated to providing assistance to those who need it the most. This commitment is rooted in a genuine passion for nursing, a driving force that motivates me to love and excel in my work every day.

I find immense fulfillment in working with the elderly. Being there for them when they need assistance the most brings me joy and a sense of purpose. My passion extends to end-of-life care, where I am dedicated to providing high-quality nursing support to individuals navigating this crucial phase of their life cycle.

Furry Friend Bentley: My four-legged companion, Bentley, adds a lot of joy to my life. Playing and spending time with him is a delightful way to relax and appreciate the simple joys of companionship.

Thrift Store Explorer: I have a knack for hunting unique thrift items. Exploring thrift stores and finding hidden treasures is a hobby that combines the joy of discovery with a love for unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.

Beaufort County Community College, Beaufort, NC:
- August 2007: Licensed Practical Nursing. This marked the beginning of my formal nursing education, providing me with the foundational knowledge and skills for my nursing career.
- April 2000: Certified Nursing Assistant. My early certification as a nursing assistant laid the groundwork for my future pursuits in the healthcare field.

- August 2010: Licensed Vocational Nursing Reciprocity. Expanding my licensure to Texas through reciprocity allowed me to broaden my professional reach.
